"I had to look up this shop - to give the business, and especially owner Al, the highest possible praise & five stars. No name or address here on google but I hope my review sends some business their way. After we had a scary flat tire on a busy stretch of 87, and waiting for NY Thruway Help to change the tire for us, we stopped for gas up the road nearby at Mobil. As we headed down the road to our destination in Narrowsburg, our spare tire went flat! Miraculously, it happened directly across from this establishment. As we pulled in, Al was in his truck, heading out...we asked if he was the owner. He looked at the flat and said "I'll be back in 5 minutes". This was a late Saturday afternoon. Most people would have said "sorry, closed" and moved on. He came back, checked out the destroyed flat, searched his garage and found a good tire slightly smaller than what our car called for, but he put it on, balanced it perfectly, and it worked! He asked for a very reasonable payment and we were more than happy to give it to him plus some extra for his trouble. We went happily on our way with a sigh of relief at how this kind, empathetic and totally professional man had probably saved us a long night of waiting for AAA, being towed, etc etc. We will be forever grateful to you, Al, and your nameless auto repair shop!"
