"Never again, I put reservation. They messed up my reservations to another hotel. I did not put reservations for. Charge me a $189. I have not gotten my refund back. Because of their mistakes that is not fair. I cannot afford that kind of money to lose. I am disable and it has been 3 and a 1/2. Still trying to get my money back that they messed up. They need to have people that can talk proper. The rabbithe representative that took my information for my reservation. Got very rude and disrespectful. Every time I try to call to get my money back. They have no problem taking my money. And they do not want to replace my funds that they have to get out of my account. And I am still had a hard time to try to get a $189 back. That they owe me cause. I did not put a reservation at a hothey made the mistake and I got to suffer for it. I am disabled of veteran. This is how you treat me so everybody do not use the red roof air"

"This place deserves a much higher rating on google to reflect the improvements that were clearly done in recent years. The people at the reception are genuinely nice and helpful. The place is extremely clean in all areas . I looked into my room for nooks and crannies that could be unclean and there weren’t any . The rooms are updated along with all the furniture. The carpet in the corridor was freshly cleaned and without smell. Along the common areas the heat was set high . I will be a repeat customer and anyone thinking to book should ignore older reviews that describe a completely different place than the one I visited."

"I stayed here at the red roof inn binghamton north on upper front street recently and had a very bad encounter with a woman who stays there with help from dss her name is shanasia only reason I know that is a worker told me there was the smell of weed coming from here room and constant fighting with some guy when I said something to her she about the smell and fighting she physically assaulted me. I made a complaint about it to a worker and but nothing was done and she is still here. Something needs to be done about her other people staying here fear for thier life because of her and all the staff seems too afraid to do anything about it or say anything to her about it."

"Management acts like the free breakfast is stealing food out of their childrens mouth. Very frugal with every drop. Witnessed management kicking out one guest because they spilled coffee, they were told to never come back. Be careful if they ask for a security deposit, they will put you in their worse room and then try to blame everything on you. Very expensive for being such a low star motel. Definitely price gouge when they can. Noticed our window has a crack in it and the storm window was totally gone, you can see some glass on the window sill and on the outside ground still. One disgusting thing there was a snake killed in the parking lot during our stay and they just threw it under our window. Check and let's see how many days that dead snake is decaying outside the hotel . We work overnights and housekeeping was none flexible. Do it at their convenience or they won't do it."

"I should have read the reviews before booking. My shower was full of sandy dirt when I arrived, and water kept backing up into the tub. There was also a thin layer of the same dirt on the floor that crunched under foot. The first time the tub clogged, the front desk clerk was very kind and found a plunger to fix it. After cleaning my own tub and showering, I discovered my fresh towel was oily and contained about 20 pieces of thick dark hair. I wear glasses, so I did not see this before drying most of my body. I pulled each hair off while re-showering. The second time the tub clogged, the front desk clerk didn't have any maintenance tools, and there weren't any other rooms available to borrow or move to. The A/C worked great, so at least I could combat the inexplicable humidity. It did smell like a moldy dog though. Twice, the hotel staff let themselves into our room around 8am without knocking, I presume to clean. The second time they left the door hanging open."
