I had previously been employed for 20 years at the same company then let go due to the Pandemic. The Community Engagement Center hooked me up with a job training program which led to me being gainfully employed again. So far as of July 2023 I have been employed at my new job for 2 years. Thank You Community Engagement Center!!!"

"The Career Readiness Program is designed to prepare job seekers for the successes and challenges of today's competitive work place. The curriculum is composed of 10 units that address competencies required for career readiness and Job Retention for those entering or re-entering the workforce. A certificate of completion is awarded and an opportunity to apply for employment vacancies at The University of Maryland Medical Center."
