"Another fantastic night. Great performance in a setting that puts you into the action. I am already looking forward to the next show! So this is still true. The spotlighter theater never fails to provide a great evening of wonder. This time around we saw a Shakespearean classic. Yet, we are looking forward to our next performance. Spotlighters continues to be one of my favorite venues for local theater. This weekend we caught a performance that was a part of the Baltimore Playwright Festival. In a word.... fantastic. "Spotlighters Theatre is a hidden gem and a fantastic experience! When they say "intimate" setting, you're still not prepared for just how close you'll be to the actors on stage. I love the setting, the connection to history over the years and the dedication to providing high-quality live theatre. So glad they survived the pandemic!"
"Although the theater is tiny and the bathrooms are tinier the overall play the production of the play it was awesome and on this little small square stage the play was so great that it had your mind imagining everything that was going on it was awesome I loved it."
"Okay, so it's a small, older theatre - they are working on a move within 5 years. Don't wait, as it's definitely worth going now. The cast always is great and they perform with such enthusiasm it's impossible not to get drawn into the action. We've gone about 5 or 6 times and have found it to be consistently good, too. Reasonable prices, friendly people, round theatre set up. Ignore the less than perfect physical situation and be transported to a different place in time."
