"It's a beautiful piece of nature right in your backyard. The heritage trail runs right through it and it's well maintained. Plenty use it but rarely see anyone because of the shear size of the trails and the surrounding area. It's great if you want to just get out and walk in a wooded area without walking in knee high brush and weeds. The local river runs along most trails in the area so it's beautiful nature everywhere you look. If you want a place to go and be in nature without all the messiness that comes with walking in the woods. Than your not going to find a better place locally."

"A nice town park with basketball and tennis courts, baseball field and walking/jogging path. A short gravel path follows along the Lackawanna River and offers park benches and fishing access. You can expect to see ducks, geese and the occasional green heron along the river and if you're lucky even a bald eagle. (Edit) The Lackawanna River Heritage Trail now officially runs through the park and bicycles are more permitted, complete with a dedicated bike lane."

"Love this little gem hidden in the city. There is a beautiful walking trail here and my favorite area is the river flowing nearby where you can enjoy the water, squirrels and ducks (and probably a few other animals too). The area is kept neat and clean, and although the parking lot doesn't seem that big, there always seems to be enough parking (unless there's a game at the neighboring school- then it might be a bit packed)."

"Fantastic park tucked right up against the Lackawanna River. Tennis, play stuff, sports fields, and a few trails that follow the river. A good place to take the kids for a walk. Just be careful by the creek as it can be very fast flowing in this section."

"Park has been in disarray since last year, it's all torn up looks terrible and is dangerous for people Loud music booming from kids at the basketball courts and vandalism is all over. Used to be a beautiful park growing up God knows where tax dollars are going to with no repairs and a failed security camera system never installed poor kids unless your in the special Babe Ruth league my cousins kids and fans don't enjoy the scoreboards or consession stands. Bathrooms had vandalism about 20 years ago but they never reopened it so your forced to use filthy Porta potties"
