"Old post office fountain dedication/ memorial. The old post office was sold dirt cheap as the post office did not want to invest in a new Terre cotta tile roof that the building required . It was sold for a fraction of its cost to a law firm with a payment plan not required for many years to come , the current Post office is a rented space on state Street , that is not adequate or sufficient for the needs of the community ( I am a life long philatelist , so my opinion is still my opinion , and valid ) we went from 11 post office/zip codes and a sorting center , to 1 post office and sorting done in Buffalo or Pittsburgh ."
