"When needing some topsoil delivered to my home, a neighbor had recommended these folks. I called around and they had a good price for the dirt and delivery charge. Plus, being local to my town I figured it should be quick and easy, and I like to support local folks. I ordered from them Saturday and was told they could deliver on Monday. Perfect. I was on vacation and that was ideal. Monday morning comes and goes. No dirt. Call. No answer. Call again. Leave message. Call again, finally get someone (the guy in charge?) telling me they didn’t get the message and couldn’t deliver that day. Tuesday, rain. No delivery. Wednesday: no delivery and no word from them until I called around 2pm to see if they’d be delivering or not. No go for Wed, so we agree on Thursday morning. By Thursday at 10:30am - and, now getting used to this lack of accountability- I call. Find out that the delivery guy “forgot”. Friday morning is a promise. So, finally, almost a week after ordering this, and now near the end of my vacation when I no longer have any time left to do the landscaping I’d planned, they deliver bright and early in the morning, arriving without a phone call. Based on previous experiences, I had little expectation they’d arrive at all, much less at 8am. This was, by far, the most disappointing and frustrating experience for just getting some dirt delivered. No communication, lack of reliability, and a 100% lousy customer experience. I will absolutely not being doing any business with this company going forward - for anything - nor will I recommend them to any neighbors, instead pointing others to Agway or other companies that will actually keep their delivery times."
