"Like every other convenience store in the great City it is conveniently available when I need a last minute item. The prices might not always be the best but it is a convenience store and therefore you are paying for the convenience of being able to buy these items at that convenience store even if it's a little more expensive. Occasionally there are multiple people loitering outside this establishment but if you complain to the clerk about it the clerk never has an issue having them leave which makes it a fairly decent place to shop at. I have had the privilege of shopping at lots of convenience stores throughout the city and this is one of the better ones."

"The store was clean with an old creaky floor that was a little uneven in spots. The asles were narrow with boxes of goods stored on the floor. But, it was all neat and clean with no noticable stale odors. There was a good selection of snacks and beverages, with the option for a gallon of milk. There was a lot of unique items as well, like carmel for your latte and a wide selection of incense and even ketchup chips. The clerk was friendly and pointed out another display of chips that I had missed, with the smaller bags."
"I shop at the V & P just about every day. They are very nice, and they have a good variety. The prices are ok. I always enjoy going in there. Update: 11-9-2016 I bought a 1lb bag of Gambler Tobacco, 1 Box of 200 Cigarette Tubes, and a Tobacco injector, all for under $25.00. WHAT A GREAT DEAL! It roughly costs me about .80 cents for a pack of cigarettes, if not less. The bag of tobacco will do about 500 cigarettes. These guys really pointed me in the right direction, and I am literally saving $225.00 a month on smokes now. THANK YOU U&P Convenience, your #1 in my book!"
