"This is a great family park to get out on the water. Theres a long enough beach area where you can find a nice space , plenty of parking, very nice changing area, bathroom and rinse station. The boat launch is also very accessible. In addition to all of this there are hiking trails and plenty of shade. As of Aug 2023 there is no kayak rentals on site. Would be a nice addition though."

"Always a good time. They close earlier this year than in years past. The both rooms close at 6:30pm and the beach closes at 7:45pm. I like to come on weekdays in the afternoon-evening when is not as busy. This is a very pleasant state park. They have nature trails, watercraft to rent and much more. To see the rest check out their website."

"Great for kayaking or paddle boarding. Easy Paddle for beginners that want to see some wildlife. The beach was clean when we got there. However, when we were leaving, there were people blowing up balloons and busting them extremely loudly. It sounded like fireworks. Additionally, loading up my kayak, there were busted balloons all over the ground. I picked up 12 or so pieces of balloon. If an animal ingested that, it could be catastrophic. I highly recommend the park enforcing restrictions."

"Great little state park with multiple hiking trails which are very well marked and maintained! Beautiful pond with an awesome little beach area, end of April visit during the week so the park was pretty empty which was nice. The trails around the pond area have restrooms periodically (outhouse style but clean), there's also water spigots (not on until May I think). Lots of natural water, bring a filter and you'll have plenty of water! Couple playground areas, dogs welcome but not on the beach areas and tons of picnic tables!!"

"Nice, short trail. When I went, there was still quite a bit of snow but it was good enough to still walk. Quiet trail for the most part. The history markers along the walk are a nice touch which talk about the history of the area as well as the ecosystem. Will definitely be revisiting throughout the different seasons."
