"Great short hike with the family and dog. Close parking near the Sugarloaf Golf Club. You can even grab a to go sandwich or snacks from Strokes, the restaurant at the club, before venturing out."
"Beautiful and short (~30 mins) trail, not easy by any means though. Has a swimming pocket and many waterfalls along a parallel stream. Remember: if you end up at the golf course, you've gone off the trail."
"Google maps does not lead you to the trail head. But the falls are excellent once you find them. Stay on mountain road towards the golf course to find the green sign marking the trail."
"Great place once I found it. There is a green sign on the left when you pull down to the golf course but if you're not looking you will miss it. Before the yellow slow sign on the right is parking and across the street is the green trail sign before the golf parking lot"
"Short hike, but moderately challenging with a lot of exposed rocks, roots, and steeper parts. 5yo and special needs adult completed the hike with minimal complaining. There are access points to the river all along the trail and plenty of rocks to scramble on. We brought sandwiches and had a picnic. It was to cold for swimming, but we'll be back to test that. There are several pools among the rocks that look good for swimming and possible jump spots."
