"Perfect spot for pre-show dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar. Service was friendly and the Manhattan was perfect. The food was good, a whipped ricotta toast with roasted squash, a tasty twist on a classic Italian chicken dish, and melt in your mouth shortribs. We got there early, the place filled up fast. Our first experience in Albany for a show at The Egg. We will return. Thanks to the great bartender. I hope the Jets won!"

"The food was outstanding and the service was even better. My table tried the street corn hummus, chicken wings, Kung pao brussels, the creamy tomato pesto pasta, and one of the sandwiches. Everything was delicious! The hummus was my personal favorite - definitely recommend giving it a try. Plus, our waiter was super attentative and brought our food out quickly. We had a great time and will definitely be back!"

"I had a fun Ladies Night out at Dove and Deer. They have a No Reservations policy, but on a Friday night at 5:30, the 3 of us were seated immediately. This place has a "neighborhood feel" to it; very much a place where people gather with friends or co-workers at the end of a week to catch up over drinks. I loved the atmosphere. The restaurant was set up into several different "zones" of seating that lent the sense of smaller, intimate areas that still flowed together (bar area, high top table area, regular tables, outdoor patio, etc). Service was great. We spent 2 hours ordering drinks, small plates, mains, and dessert while chatting and never felt pushed. Delicious food and good selection of cocktails, drafts, cans, and non-alcoholic options. Highly recommend both the Kung Pao Brussel sprouts and the Tequila Chicken."

"We really liked the drinks - their riff on an Old Fashioned I really liked, especially the cherry. The current drink special was a Mayflower - kinda sweet but nice. The Utica greens we didn't think we're anything special - and ours were a bit gritty/crunchy. The Chopped Cheese sandwich we both liked a lot!"

"Short business trip and decided to try this restaurant and it was a great experience. Food was delicious, Pesto pasta and the ricotta. I'm sad that I didn't try the Coconut cake since I was so full. The server was very attentive and she even suggested a local brown Ale beer for me to try. High five to her!!"
