"Absolutely amazing place to visit any time of the year. Plenty to explore and Screw Auger Falls is such a beautiful display of the raw powers Mother Nature and Father Time possess"
"Not much information (for an outsider) on what’s around and to see to help plan a visit effectively. Moose cave was the ‘longest’ walk, interesting, good pathway with lots of wooden stairs. Mother Falls pretty unimpressive but nice. Screw Agnew (name may be incorrect) was the nicest with just a short walk."
"Easy to get to the waterfalls. Very nice area. Handicap accessible path to the small fall. Not difficult to access if you have limited mobility. We went in the rain and the water was shallow in many areas so my daughter enjoyed walking on the rocks and dipping her feet in. Would not recommend as a swimming area in the rain but on a calm day would be nice."
"beautiful park, nice outhouses, treacherous climb (looking at you eyebrow). make sure you understand what you are signing up for if you venture to eyebrow (check all trails) ... was raining the day we went, didnt really want to slide across the rock at the top."
"Grafton Notch State Park is an absolutely stunning part of Maine. My family has been visiting for many years and we always enjoy our time there. The state park sits along the Bear River, and the Appalachian Trail. It is a beautiful spot for hiking, picnicking, just relaxing and Moose and Bird watching."
