"Literally went there and had them "pack" up a to go order bc I was driving to go visit my dad and the separated everything it was awesome! I took 2 for myself at 11am!! When I drive from Massachusetts I never miss a chance to get my Gus's!!"
"Famous old school walk up stand with classic Troy mini hot dogs. You can choose to eat them with ketchup, mustard, onions, and meat sauce - if you haven't had them before, I recommend trying meat sauce on one or two to see if you like it, it's not for everyone. The hot dogs are small so you'll want to order 3-4x the number of dogs you'd usually want. The other food is good too but really the hot dogs are the star of the show. Lots of outdoor picnic bench seating for nice days, and a small indoor area with booths for the winter. If you're in the Capital Region and want to try the good local food, this is the place to go to."

"My friend grew up in the area and recently moved back and brought me here for lunch, the mini hot dogs were delicious. The dogs had that perfect snap and the meat sauce was what really made it the best. I love that they get their dogs from a local spot in Troy NY (Helmbold’s) I wish we had a Gus’s here in NC. I’ll definitely be back any time I’m in the area, super friendly service too. Thank you for a great meal!"
