Towne Lyne Motel

"Rooms are old and tired looking, accidently left garments in the closet, called immediately when I realized we had left them, was promised by the Manager the items would be mailed to our home in Connecticut. A week passed and no garments received. My wife called a second time and was told manager would be informed of the issue and she would get a call back. I called a third time and was told manager on vacation, clerk would check with him and call me the following day. No call or items ever received. Zero assistance from the staff. We offered to pay for any costs associated with the return of the garments. We will not stay here again."

"We had a very good experience at Towne Lyne last month, staying for several nights in a ground-floor room facing the Ogunquit river. Our accommodations were very clean! Though the room decor is somewhat dated, we found it cozy and quaint. Bed was more springy than I'd like but comfortable enough. Good wi-fi. Overall it was exactly what we needed: an affordable, clean, and convenient home base from which to explore Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. The owner was friendly and eager to help with anything we might've needed. He mentioned that he just took over the motel a year or so ago, and they plan to renovate the back rooms soon, which will include upgrading all the queens to kings. We'll definitely stay again if we're ever back in the area!"

"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We booked a room at 8:00 pm and in the night received a call that my aunt passed away. First thing the next morning (7:30am) i called and cancelled and they told me no problem. Unfortunately they charged me a full night and will not refund it."

"Great room at a great price. Our room was immaculately clean. Owner and front desk person greeted us personally and was very friendly. Best outdoor hangout spot. Within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Very cool waterfall nearby! Fantastic spot to stay."

"I'm in my room here right now, and this is a very nice room, and very well maintained property, with a very friendly staff. If I am ever near here again, I would definitely stay here. My only very minor complaints is the wall AC didn't work, although it was comfy without it, I like fan noise at night.. And there is a smoking area outside my room ( sort of self designated by other guests, so not really the motels fault). But the cleanliness of the room, and bed comfort were world class! And very reasonable price. Again, staff was very friendly in pointing out places to eat, and directions to the beach, a cool guy."
