"I met Matt O'Brien some time ago on a job as I am a contractor myself. At first I hired him to handle the carpentry work for my customers - to rave reviews. Then my wife and I hired him to do the first room remodel in our home. We wanted an 18th century look. We gave him the jist of what we wanted and Matt did all the design work. Custom milling all of our woodwork from raised panels on our walls, beaded and back banded casings to gorgeous beams on our ceiling. "We had a sliding door and a small deck installed. Their work was meticulous, both structurally and aesthetically. They are especially adept at preserving and restoring older homes and worked with us in finding the best way to get the look and feel we wanted. The timing of some of the work overlapped with landscaping we were having done and they coordinated well with the landscapers. (More verification: Our neighbor who is a contractor was very impressed with their work and the city said the permit application they submitted was among the most detailed they'd seen.)
