"My only regret in life is that I wasn't born in Maine. This bowling alley is one the reasons. Beautiful, well-maintained, early 1960s architecture house of bowling. Bench seats. Doorbell switches for the reset button was a really cool mod. Subway ball return. Very spacious. I hope to join a league here next season."
"It was raining on a day we were visiting Portland, so we decided to check out candlepin bowling. This is such a fun, kitschy place. I felt like I stepped back to about 1965. The staff was helpful and taught us a bit about bowling. I was very impressed by the young woman who was learning the ropes who got us set up. There were a few glitches with the pin setters, but they were quickly fixed. For a little over $20 for two adults, we had a really fun, unique experience. I highly recommend this spot, especially if the weather for outside activities doesn't cooperate!"
