"This place is a gem! I've learned so much over the years from their exceptional teachers. All the classes are superb. They range from classes on ancient and modern history (my personal fave), buying your first home, investing for retirement, wine and spirits, anthropology, food--cooking, baking, fermenting, all kinds of DIY crafts, including soap making, photography, calligraphy, taking care of house plants, knitting, drawing, painting, not to mention a host of fantastic writing classes. You name it, there are so many wonderful classes to choose from, all at a reasonable price. Over the years, I think I've taken over 50 classes (some of which I've repeated because they're that good) and I've never been disappointed. During COVID, many of the lectures were delivered via Zoom, which was a boon for me since I no longer live near Brooklyn. Thanks, Brooklyn Brainery! You guys are, without a doubt, among the best things that Brooklyn has to offer!"

"I went to Brooklyn Brainery for a wellness class and it was okay. I think since it was in-person I was expecting the class to be more interactive. Overall the space is clean and welcoming. I suggest inquiring about the presenters facilitation style before registering for the course. Since I have only tried one session, I am willing to go back and try out another. However, I wish it was a bit more diverse."

"What a great place. I took the History of Scotch class and liked it a lot. It was only $15 and they even let us try a scotch in class. That alone was worth the small price paid. I'll be back very soon for the History of Gin."

"This "school" hosts a range of fun and useful classes! In the past, I've enjoyed the "Storytelling for Business," "Pad Thai Lunch," and "Curry: A History" classes. The best parts about this place are the affordability and the good teachers."

"I have taken several cooking classes here and seen couple of lectures. Everything has been great so far! The classes are interesting and unique and very reasonable. My only advice would be to get on the email list and register immediately if you see something you'd like to do. Popular classes tend to fill quickly."
