"I'm visiting my husband's home town and having a blast until I came here. I arrived at 4:40pm was immediately asked how I could be helped and I happily replied just a fill and polish change. There was one woman being serviced and 2 employees that I saw. One had his feet up and relaxing and the other woman was servicing a patron. I was immediately told, after my reply that they had no time for fill in and polish change and that they are an appointment only business and were closing soon but as I'm from out of state I could only rely on the information provided via webs and a phone call where I was told walk ins are welcomed. Apparently not if you're a black woman. I NEVER pull the race card because I don't generally walk around assuming everyone is a racist but the tension and disdain were palpable as soon as I walked in. I've never felt more unwelcome than I did here. I was pleasant and smiling so i have no idea why i was turned away with varying excuses. I did ask if the closing time was still 6pm and was told yes and I then asked to be sure I was understanding correctly that they didn't have time for a fill in and polish change and I was told no that they were expecting many patrons in just a few minutes between stammered words. It was excuses because they didn't want to service me so I left."
