"I have been taking exclusively online classes with LLI since spring 2020. My class size has ranged from 2-3 other students and are one hour in length using the Zoom platform. We also have a textbook and 2 workbooks (reasonably priced and purchased through the school). We have audio files we can access as well. I enjoy learning French with Nancy and feel that the quality of my learning has improved compared to self-taught or app based programs exclusively. The class price is offset by no gasoline or tolls to get to the school and there is a nominal price increase at the end of the school year. LLI also has a scholarship fund for long term students dealing with financially adverse situation so they can for a time continue their love of learning a French language."

"Planning a visit to Quebec province, I decided to attend a set of adult evening classes given by Nancy Scarselletta at a local high school. Her enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, the French language prompted me to sign up for further individual lessons. Over the last two years, I have come to appreciate Nancy's vast experience --and infinite patience! -- in teaching French with her unique emphasis on phonetics which she studied at the Sorbonne. In my opinion, French is not an easy language for English speakers given its unusual rules with multiple exceptions, potential liaisons, numerous irregular verbs, unfamiliar phonics, and plentiful idioms. I've appreciated Nancy's approach and guidance thoughout the course. And it's been fun."
