Well, I'm here to share my great experience with them. Called in for an oven repair and was told it will be 5 days until they have someone available. Next day, this lovely man, Levon shows up and fixes it in no time. Had all the parts with him, one short visit and done. True professionals. Bravo"

"This company need to get its act together. They have been chasing me for money on a warranty claim for a fryer I bought at restaurant depot . One of the wires connected to the fryer pilot fell out so the manufacturer deemed it a NON warranty issue. It clearly was . I spoke to the manufacturer and they said that it was a mistake and they will take it up with interstate . The did not so I keep getting repeated calls from interstate looking for money. I told them to contact Philip at Royal Range but they refuse to and keep referring to original status. Stay away from them as another reviewer posted."

"We have a couple Pitco frialators, neither of which is more than a few years old. We began to have an issue with one of them shutting off by itself. We called the service company that Pitco recommended via their website. That company is Massachusetts Restaurant Equipment Service (or Interstate Food Equipment Service as they are also known). The tech comes out and tells us that he has to replace some sensor or probe, which shouldn't take long. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the issue. Instead, the tech says that it's the main gas valve that needs to be replaced but that will be a multi-hour job so he'll be back the next day. Comes back and replaces the valve, but the unit is still not operational. The guy says that he found a crack in some plate within the unit, which needs to be replaced. It seems like completely by chance, multiple parts of the unit failed simultaneously! I told him that this is turning into to a much bigger project than originally expected, so I would now need a quote for this project. He tells me that they can send me one but that I must immediately pay for all parts and labor already provided. That cost was $800+. After expressing my displeasure about the entire experience, they took one hour of labor off the total, bringing it down to $660-ish. The unit is still down. In eleven plus years in the business, I've never felt like I got ripped off by a vendor...until now. I paid the bill as I chalked it up to a lesson learned. Be cautious if you choose to use this company. I certainly will never do so again."

"Called on a Friday for emergency service and the repairman was there at 8am on Saturday. Best response time I have ever had, job was done in an hour and my oven was back up and running in no time. Could not have asked for better service 10/10 will be calling again the next time something breaks down."
