Morong Falmouth Volkswagen

"I arrived at 7:45am on Thursday to drop off my Tiguan. I parked my car out front in the parking lot and went inside, I was told not to park my car and to pull it up to the bay door. The parking lot was very Icy, no salt or sand on the sidewalks not cleared and slippery!! I drove my car up to the open bay door and was then told to instead pull up to the closed door. I waited while watching other cars that arrived after me pull into the other bay. I was then told to leave my car in front of the closed bay door and come inside. I was given papers to signed, when placed by bag on the counter I put it on top of some papers placed on the counter and was immediately told " don't put your bag there! Rude! I signed the papers and went to find the shuttle driver. While walking to the shuttle on the very slippery sidewalks; I looked over to the parking lot and saw my car parked back in the spot they told me not to park in? At about 8:45a I received a text saying I would receive a video of my car's inspection. I never received a video. I returned to pick up my car at 4:45p my car but it was not ready. I was asked did we call you to tell you it was ready? I told service in the morning I would pick up my car at 4:15pm. I waited for about one hour, around 5:30 I was told my car was ready, I went to the service desk, they asked Is your name Karen P. I said no I'm Karen McIlwain, he looked confused, and they said your car is not ready and told me return to the waiting area, 20 mins later now almost 6:00pm my car was ready. Next, they drove my car into the bay behind another car that was parked in the bay, I asked how can I drive my car out with that car there? I had to back my car out the bay to leave. This was probably one on the worst experiences I ever had when having my car serviced."

"Typical dealership that lies to get you in the door. Their website gave my vehicle a 18-22K trade in value. I told salesman it was too low, he said they would come up in person if it was clean & nice. Went down there, kept telling me how clean and nice car was. Then the used car sales manager with half a brain have gave me a joke of a trade in offer. After taking 1hr + to appraise my vehicle. Less than their site said. Laughed at it the whole way home. Telling everyone that will listen to avoid Morong, they dont seem to sell alot of cars anyway (wonder why) . Used car sales manager is so slow he refused $27K for a car 2 weeks ago, he now has the car listed for $26K, guy is about as sharp as a marble. Gonna update my review as this shoddy dealer feels the need to defend themselves. My inspection expired 12/23. My vehicle is a 2019, you admittedly knew about the accident and air bag deployment and offered more than you did in person over the phone. You even lied and said you would come up on the offer upon seeing it in person. If you had a competent used car sales manager you wouldnt need to lie to people to get them in the door. He gives you pennies for your trade then tries to flip it for double whatever he paid. Theres a reason other car dealerships sell 2-3x the amount of the same vehicle while their used cars sit on the lot for months and months."

"Ben and the team were responsive and helpful in tuning up my Tiguan. I felt confident that they were taking the best care of my car and giving me the best service. Additionally Ben went above and beyond by noticing that my state inspection was due and performing that during my service as well."

"I came in for an oil change and tire rotation /balance. When I went to use my car the next morning I had a hazard light come on telling me low coolant. I called and went right in which is a 30 minutes drive for me and I was not going that way at all but I had to take it in to be checked, this was an inconvenience to drive back to Falmouth for them to top this off."

"While my initial issue was fixed, every time I picked up my car it seemed to have more, new, issues/sounds. For example, When I picked it up for the second time, I heard a pop when putting the car into gear, and the top strut mount was squeaking (an issue which I had Sullivan Tire diagnose because Morong Falmouth was unable to). Furthermore, my backup camera was glitching out, something which was not an issue before I dropped the car off. Promised one-day services quickly turned into 4 day ordeals which were not always communicated to me. I was often left hanging, without any knowledge of how many days my car was going to be gone. Upon prompting, I was informed of my car's status but the communication I received was not always clear and professional (misspellings and miss use of capitalization). Primarily though, I am frustrated that I picked up my supposedly fixed car and it was still making unnatural noises."
