"I purchased a rock and roll tee shirt as a gif for my daughter. $49. I thought it was expensive but also thought it would be exclusive to the specialty shop in Newburyport, Meriki on State St. When I got home I googled rock and roll tee shirts to look for a different band. What came up was the exact tee shirt I bought at Meriki for 1/2 the cost, there were a few websites ranging in price from $17.00- $25.00 being the most expensive. That is a 50% mark up and what I consider price gouging. I understand retail does price mark ups to make a profit, I know because I worked in retail for 15 years, but 50% is a bit much. In addition to this, I never received the email receipt for my purchase. I immediately called the store to talk about this for 3 days in a row, I left my email, my phone number and in 4 days no one has gotten back to me. I hope they read this review but more important for the public to be aware of the price gouging that goes on in this store"

"Stopped by here yesterday to pick out two Naketano sweatshirts & love your melon hats for gifts- the girl working could’ve cared less that I was in the store. I greeted her after being in the store for a few minutes instead of her acknowledging me after browsing the selection and looking over at the girl working for guidance- every time I looked over she looked away I chose to leave and search out what I needed elsewhere. If you know they have it and your in and out I’m sure it’s fine to shop here otherwise the cold shoulder doll send you elsewhere."

"Terrible customer service. I bought a bracelet here in December that broke while putting it on for the first time. I returned it and the shop said, they would send it back to the designer and fix it for me. I've called and stopped in numerous times since December, as my messages were not getting returned. It's now March and every time I go in to inquire about the bracelet they claim it's "coming in" or they will call the manager and call me back, with no call backs. I'm super disappointed with the entire experience, I haven't been offered a refund and essentially paid for a broken product that's not even in my possession, I do not recommend shopping here."
