"The Maine Bagel is an excellent local establishment, with the highest quality quick service breakfast around. The other day, there was a mistake with my order. I didn’t realize until I was out of town. I called and asked if I could go back and switch my bagel out for the correct one when I headed that way later in the day. They were friendly, apologetic, and they made it right for me. I cannot speak highly enough about this business! Thank you - to the team at Maine Bagel. I love seeing the same familiar faces when I frequent the store."
"Matty from Brooklyn here. Not only is this the best bagel in the Portland area, it’s one of the best bagels in the world. Fantastic. The way they used to be, before every place in nyc started making oversized monstrosities with no hole. Delicious & light bagels, rich cream cheese, and solid Nova Scotia lox. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. 4realz chief!"
"As a New Yorker I am very particular on bagels. Although I still say NY bagels are the best, the bagel sandwich I had from here was very good. The lox, cream cheess, tomatoes, were so fresh and delicious. The employee I spoke to was so friendly and we chatted for 5 minutes. It really made the experience so memorable and to be honest fun! They do not let you inside here. It is drive thru or online pickup only. I was greatful to read that before I left Portland. I placed my order online and called when I arrived. Service was great and easy. Highly recommend!"
"$22 and change for an xl coffee, amazing breakfast sandwich, 1/2 dozen bagels and a 1/2 lb flavored cream cheese. Great value for fresh baked bagels that hit the spot! We spent less here than we did on three donuts and two coffees at holy donut. Give these guys a try you won't regret it. Drive through line too long? Ordered online in the parking lot and it was ready early."
"Helpful know ahead info: order online and then drive thru. We were those people who were totally lost because we expected we could roll up, walk in, and order. After the confusion however we were pleasantly surprised with very friendly and helpful staff and with a great bagel sandwich. Couldn't resist a bite before I remembered to snap a photo! We order a pastrami,egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and a miss piggy on a plain bagel. The everything bagel had a wonderful garlic flavor to it. Definitely stop in and try it for yourself"
