Bandaloop is a locally sourced, globally inspired organic eatery located at 1200 Portland Road in Arundel, Maine. Since 2004, we have been serving up delicious food made with organic ingredients that support local producers and Maine's family farms. Our menu changes with the seasons to ensure fresh, flavorful dishes year-round.
At Bandaloop, we believe in eating well and feeling good. Our bar offers seasonal cocktails, and our restaurant has options for both carnivores and herbivores. Whether you're looking for a perfect salad, dreamy appetizer, dynamic vegan main, or decadent dessert, we have something for everyone.
To ensure an efficient dining experience, we ask that all members of your group arrive before being seated. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes, and early arrival does not guarantee early seating. Take out orders may be delayed or declined during peak hours, so please plan accordingly. For large orders or if online take out is disabled, please call 207-967-4994 and press option 2 to speak to our helpful staff at the take out counter.

"Really enjoyed my experience at Bandaloop. The food was fantastic I had the carrot soup and wilted spinach salad as well as the Kailua fudge brownie for dessert. They were somewhat busy when I arrived and seemed to be serving a lot of tables, even midweek. So I would say to expect that and possibly make a reservation. Overall a good experience and nice atmosphere."
"Our food was outstanding. Our reservation was for 615 in the loft. We were seated promptly and it was fairly quiet when we started our meal. Great selection of foods, everything tasted fresh. Unfortunately the service was a 6 out of 10 at the best. We received our meals in a very timely manner but never checked in on our meals, and we didn’t get any drinks except at the beginning. We ate our entire dinner with empty glasses of drinks. I know he did get busier but even at the end of our meals he didn’t ask how the meal was at all and just handed us a dessert menu."
"We are glad to stumble on to this gem! From the hostess, waiter and food surpassed our expectations! It’s not easy finding a vegan option restaurant but one that offers a huge variety and actually taste amazing. Bring middle eastern and Shakhuka being a staple on our table, This meal was way out of this world !!! OMG and the vegan desserts. Thank you for feeding us tasty and delicious food, looking forward to our next visit."
"Great bartender. Great cocktails. The food was amazing as always. The mussels and egg rolls have been on the menu for years and was so glad to see they were still available and they tasted just as good as I remembered! And the vegan peanut butter cheesecake was to die for."
"This was our first visit on a friends recommendation. The atmosphere of this old building is wonderful with it's large exposed beams and rustic but warn look. It's nicely laid out with a spacious first floor and an attractive second floor dining area. The menu offered a great selection of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. We opted for a scallop special and a salmon special of the day. Both were a melt-in-your-mouth experience and were perfectly prepared and delicious. The drinks we ordered were spot-on and icy cold.
