"When you want a simple, satisfying meal in New England you go where the cops and the truck drivers eat. There are basically two choices and Lisa's is the only one open all day. Portions are generous and well prepared with attention to details (like toasting the whole surface of bread, not just the middle). Prices are low and service is great. Full bar is open in the pm and large groups are accommodated with advance notice. Lisa's also caters weddings and such at your location and does a great job. Well worth a visit and a safe bet for the whole family."
"My friend and I stopped in at Lisa's Restaurant during a day trip to Augusta. The atmosphere was great - it's a casual place to eat that's very clean and inviting, and the food was good. We also had a very friendly and enthusiastic waitress (Hannah?) who really elevated the experience and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stop in again on a future visit."
"Food was really good. Fried Haddock sandwich was very large with light breading and soft flaky fish. Onion rings were very good as well and not greasy at all. Our server was professional, attentive and friendly"
"First time here. Service was excellent. Waitstaff very friendly, food was very good, with the exception of the chili. It was too thick for our liking but other than that, everything else was great. Huge portions. Will definitely be back to try their breakfast. We had the reuben, bacon burger and honey dipped chicken."
