"Food was so so good. There cream puffs are my favorite, I wake up in the middle of the night craving their cream puffs. Their coffee is the best around here, There lattes especially. they’re creamy and the foam was so perfectly steamed. The service was amazing. The cashier, Grace, was really nice and so cool. They had the best music as well. All in all was really such an amazing experience, and would highly recommend!!"

"Food is great. Service has gotten pretty bad. Seems like no one is in charge. The dining-in experience went through the floor. I just get takeout occasionally now, and you will usually wait a long time. I want to give this place 5 stars, but the customer experience there hasn't been good since lockdowns."

"AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING & Nom Nom Nom is all I have to say about EVERYTHING produced and cooked and made fresh here daily. The staff is as good as the food(since there isn't any better than here). I WISH I took a pic of the delicious coffee, Olive Loaf(OMG!!!-The BEST!!!), Sourdough loaf, eclair, muffins & truffles.... alas, you will just have to settle for a WOW spicy, juicy chicken sandwich with perfectly crispy hand cut fries....NOM NOM. Its worth the 1 hr drive we make to come here - EVERYtime. Enjoy..."

"1/14/2023, Sat: I purchased from their bakery at the NYC Union Square Greenmarket with the tgtg app where they were very generous in quantity, where I had a chance to sample a number of their bagged and loose loaves of bread and baked goods. - My favorite bread would be the 'Whole Grain Sourdough' : organic whole wheat flour, water and salt, for $5.00 which I just tried, and which is made with all natural sourdough starter and no commercial yeast, and salt and water and whole wheat from NYS. It is the most dense and whole grain of the natural sourdough without commercial yeast. - The favorite loaf I tried other than the whole grain (whole wheat) sourdough is the: 'Seeded Rye': Bread Flour, Water, Rye Flour, Sourdough Starter, Caraway Seeds, Salt, where the bread flour is likely refined white flour, and the rye flour likely has whole grains and no commercial yeast. It is the last photo listed below. - I tried the bagged gluten-free seedy rye (most popular, but not natural sourdough yeast),: Water, organic sorghum, tapioca starch, organic garbanzo flour, egg whites, apple cider vinegar, organic millet, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, NYS buckwheat flour, cane sugar, organic canola oil, potato starch, yeast, xanthan gum, sea salt, -> and I tried the: - bagged mixed grain: which is also not sourdough and uses regular commercial yeast: Bread Flour, Water, Whole Wheat Flour, Sourdough Starter, Rolled Oats, Sunflower Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Millet, Flax, Cracked Wheat, Yeast, Salt - The ciabatta loaf of bread is un-sliced without a bag and mostly sourdough and is white bread and appears to have some commercial yeast: INGREDIENTS: Bread Flour, Water, Sourdough Starter, Olive Oil, Salt, Yeast. - The morning glory muffin, which is a dark brown with oats on top (my favorite of muffins) has some whole wheat: INGREDIENTS: flour (all-purpose, whole wheat), carrots, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, apples, raisins, cranberries, canola oil, walnuts, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt. , while the - cranberry and blueberry muffins use white flour but I believe use local berries: INGREDIENTS: flour, sour cream, cranberries, sugar, eggs, butter, baking powder, vanilla extract, salt, baking soda. - The Cranberry Cornmeal Scone - $3.00 INGREDIENTS: flour, dried cranberries, butter, cornmeal, eggs, sugar, half and half, vanilla extract, baking powder, salt, uses regular white flour. - The Mixed Grain Croissant $3.50 Local & organic whole wheat flour, wheat flour. butter, millet, flax, sunflower, sugar, yeast, salt, was one of my favorites and uses a whole grain whole wheat. - Summary, the prices are reasonable, and this bakery features NYS local grains, and does offer a whole grain sourdough bread without commercial yeast, and has some whole grains in their muffins such as the morning glory and the mixed grain croissant, but could use more whole grains and natural starter sourdough in their breads and other baked goods, including the gluten-free options (even though the gluten- free options do include decent whole grains such as buckwheat flour)."

"This place is always solid, great selection of Mediterranean/Jewish Deli themed breakfast and lunch items. The Reuben was delicious and the whitefish chowder is also solid. In the summer the deck pit back is great to sit on. All round good wholesome food and coffee!"
