"This was my first time trying this place and I was very disappointed. I ordered a Sirloin Steak Entree (medium-well) and they don't know what medium well means. My steak was VERY pink inside and VERY under-seasoned. The Mac and cheese was disgraceful, the noodles were very overcooked and mushy and it tasted like they just poured Velveeta cheese over them. My baked potato was alright, they did cook it through, but it came with nothing, not even butter. The "full" rack of ribs was laughable, nowhere near a full rack, I'm glad I didn't order it (my sister did and she didn't care for them). I'm sorry, but I won't be ordering from here again."

"The food is always amazing, and no matter if it's the bartender or the server on that night no matter who's taking care of you both of them are amazing! Last time we stuck around for Matty D's karaoke and had a blasty blast. With prices going up on everything nowadays it's hard to really find the reason to or a place to go to, so if you can fit in your budget definitely check out Donnie Magoo's! Try seafood fondue!!!"

"Came here for the first time to meet friends and grab a quick dinner before seeing Jimmy Dore at the Cohoes Music Hall. The food was amazing, and they did a great job of accommodating our group. I've been back a few times since, and my experience has remained the same. I definitely would recommend this establishment. Their food is fresh, well prepared, and the Reubens are to die for, as are the fish and chips! (Potato chips and French fries are made in-house)"

"I had a very nice time at Donnie Magoo’s this past weekend. Our waiter/bartender Jack was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us good drink recommendations. I would suggest getting the California Burger and utilizing the back patio seating when it’s nice out."

"I didn't catch the name of the bartender who helped us with ordering our food but he was super nice and friendly. He also checked in on us to see if we needed anything a few times but wasn't overbearing. I'm not used to any additional service after receiving food in that kind of smaller venue with limited staff. The service was excellent and the burger was DELICIOUS. Thank goodness they didn't skimp on the napkins because it was a bit messy but worth it. I had the bacon cheddar burger and my husband had a spicy chicken situation ( he can't remember the name) that was really good as well. Live music, great service and food was so needed on this cold mid-week night."
