New York Style Pizza

"Great food,great service,portions are huge and the prices are not high at all!!!! I order the eggplant parm dinner many of nights and have plenty to share and still have for lunch the next day!!! Potato skins..love...pizza...love!!!!! Staff is awesome!!!!"

"I am from Maryland and whenever I come up north to New York, I try to find pizza more authentic to a New York Style. What better place to check out than a place called New York Style Pizza. My expectations have been low for a long time as I've noticed it getting harder and harder to find NY style pizzas anywhere, including in NY itself. The place is nice and clean with a few tables but I think it is more of a pick up kind of place. The pizzas are all handmade and thin. The staff was extremely friendly. I could have been swindled however the staff was nice to let me know my order qualified for a promotion and I was able to get a discount. The pizza itself was good. Not great but well above average. I could have done with a touch more cheese and more of the toppings but this is being extremely nitpicky. Compared to the other pizza joints in the area, if you are looking for NY style, this is as close as you will get. I would come back here again without hesitation."

""New York Style"? No. I ordered a large mushroom, and it was marginal at best. They charge $2.50 for toppings but barely gave me any mushrooms. Two of the slices had maybe three small pieces between them (see images). I could have bought a $0.65 can of "stems and pieces" from the grocery store and been able to properly cover the entire pie. I tried this local business because it was on my way home but next time I will just drive out of my way and get a decent meal."

"Let me start off by saying the pizza here is some of the best I've ever had, I ordered pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. I only had a few problems with the pizza, those few problems were how greasy it was but to fix that I just soaked some of it up with napkins and it was fixed. Plus it was pepperoni so it was expected. My main problem is the lack of tomato sauce simply put there barely is any if any. The three things that make pizza to me is the dough, cheese and sauce. This was lacking a crucial part of what makes pizza well pizza, but they have a great dough cooked perfectly into a great crust, with a great cheese on top and a great variety of toppings to choose from they just need to give it the tomato sauce it deserves and they'd have the perfect pizza. The service was also excellent and very friendly, made me feel very comfortable and welcomed."
