"We ate Yianni’s for the first time after attending a show at the MacHaydn Theater. The restaurant was not full at the time we were seated. When we were seated, it took quite awhile to receive our drinks. The food was very good - my wife and I both ordered one of the specialties for the night: shrimp risotto. It was very good. Our chief complaint was the slowness of the staff serving the drinks and dinner. When we were ready to leave it took an inordinate amount of time to get the waitress’s attention and request our check. I gave the rating four stars because I did not want take away the quality of the food because of the service."

"This has become our go to place. They have great straightforward stuff like burgers and fried chicken but then they have everything else! The menu is really extensive. Last night I had scallops with mac & cheese and it was ridiculous. My wife loved the fried chicken!"

"I would give this place 3 1/2 stars. Will have to go back to try more food to rate higher as had mixed feeling about food. They came out with bread basket which was fresh and warm, delicious French bread with whipped butter. We got the Escargot appetizer and it was very good.. Ordered the soup du jour which was cream if broccoli amd loved it. Order vegetable tempura and hated it. They should rename it as deep fried cauliflower. I was expecting the Japanese style tempura which thus definitely was not. It was greasy deep fried balls of cauliflower and no other vegetables; was very disappointed. My kids ordered two pasta dishes which they seemed to like, I tasted the penne and ut tasted good. My husband ordered Greek salsa which was a good size and looked good and the salmon which was good. Ordered creme Brule and it came with a fruit sauce on the side and what tasted like homemade whip cream... I liked it. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality. If it wasn't for the well drinks and terrible tempura would have rate higher. I would recommend to try. Atmosphere is nice old decor."
