Crispy Basil Artisan Pizza

"Ordered a Cuban pizza. They didn't add the pickles or the topping sauce. Pizza was cold and tasted like it had been sitting in their slices case all day, and they tried to pass it off as fresh. This place used to be my go-to for specialty pizzas, but the quality has just continued to decline. Definitely won't be getting any additional business from me."

"I called to ask what was included on a white broccoli pizza. The person on the line listed the ingredients, and it sounded like the kind of pizza I was looking for. So I went ahead and ordered online so I could just run in and run out when it was ready, having already prepaid… welll as I go to pick up the pizza, the delivery driver instantly hits on me asking for my number. Flattering, but no. Absolutely not. Once I get my pizza, I see that it has red sauce on it. Why would a White pizza have RED sauce on it?? That’s specifically why I called ahead to ask and didn’t think I needed to specify/modify the order to get it the way it’s supposed to come? The pizza was okay, just not what I paid for."

"There is no shortage of pizza in the Albany area, each with its own personality. Crispy Basil has a distinct edge that pairs well with its artisan pizza selections. Showed up late on a Sunday night before an early morning flight and we were ecstatic to indulge these perfect pies. Excellent balance of cheese and sauce - perfectly baked (just a little on the crispy side) and the toppings were generous. Some of the reviews appear “hit or miss” but we definitely hit a home run with these baked to order beauties!"

"The only reason I'm giving three stars instead of zero is because at least it has options, it is very pricey and missed some toppings we were charged well for. They burnt our somehow burnt and soggy pizza, the ravioli was swimming in oil, and the pasta was very bland.. the "garlic bread" was also very sad, is it even cooked? overall disappointing. I think this place has a lot of potential if they fix the way they're cooking the pizza and get some quality cheese options, maybe add some more spice for flavor and take it easy on the oil. We got all gluten free and vegan options."

"The restaurant is really cool. Clean and has a chill vibe. Huge comic book theme inside. The pizza was good. Had a pepperoni pie. A small one. The pizza size was unexpected. They only have small, large, and extra large. The small is 6 slices. Which is great but the slices are pretty small. Granted probably because it’s not a traditional pie? Regardless it was flavorful albeit a bit salty. I love my pizza so I did enjoy it overall. Would I come back? Yes, if I’m in the area. If not I wouldn’t go out of my way."
