Mavis Discount Tire

"This review is a little delayed, but I still wanted everyone to know about the great service that I received from the Mavis in Ossining. Back in December I had a flat tire and had gone to a couple other shops in the area, and none of them carried the special run-flat that I needed. I came to Mavis hoping that I would be able to get the flat tire fixed that same day as it was the week before Christmas and they had my tire in stock! They were able to quickly change my tire before the holiday season and I was on my way! Thank you so much to the Mavis team—I will definitely be returning here for all of my tire needs!"

"I get there at 220 on a Tuesday, there is only one other person who is there before me. I talk with the guy and he says the tires I saw online weren't in stock so I had to go with a higher brand, that is what it is. I get all 4 of my tires changed and it took 3 hours!! I asked when I could be out of there and all I got was soon. After that the guys inside started hanging out inside the garage so we couldn't bother them. (By we I mean the 2 other guys who were waiting forever and getting annoyed with how long things were taking). Then when I finally get my vehicle back at 530, I notice they didn't recalibrate the tire pressure sensors so I drove off a bit and then came back. Luckily the new guy that they grabbed (who was agitated they didn't grab the guy who did my car and can't blame him since it was close to closing time for them) was great and helped recalibrate them so the sensor warning wasn't flashing anymore. All in all DO NOT GO HERE unless you have all day for simple jobs and make sure they do all the things necessary with those jobs."

"Twice have come for inspection and both times have been told they don’t have anyone to inspect the car. First time I understand it was a Sunday still got my inspection in another place. Second time week day and it was at 3pm and they have the same issue.. I guess some people just don’t want to work."

"I had an appointment for an inspection. They failed me because my tail light was cracked. The light worked fine! The housing was cracked on the side however, it did not affect the functionality, solely a cosmetic issue. I’ve had this crack for over three years and passed all my other inspections no problem. Your car better be off the show room floor or you won’t pass inspection."

"the new management under Carlos and his co workers Ray & Zachary are wonderful people and care about the customers coming through the door. they are their to accommodate the needs for Mavis customers. great service overall with quick turn around time. It is refreshing to see a management like them commit to being the best"
