Founded by Callie and Timothy, Crazy Beans offers a fun and eclectic dining experience that combines everything they love under one roof. The restaurant serves delicious coffee, creative breakfast, and lunch dishes all day long.
Originally opened in Miller Place in 2012, Crazy Beans quickly gained popularity for its quirky atmosphere and tasty menu. Callie and Timothy's love story began at the restaurant, and they eventually expanded to open locations in Stony Brook and Greenport. The Stony Brook location is situated in the historic Stony Brook Village Center, surrounded by shops and just a short walk from Avalon Park and Stony Brook Harbor.
At Crazy Beans, every meal is cooked to order to ensure freshness and quality. "I had eggs Benedict with crab cakes for the first time and they were better than I could've imagined. The dark hot chocolate was amazing and the orange juice hit the spot in the morning. Everything tastes fresh and the servers are lovely people. Will definitely be back!"
"It's small, it's quaint, it's delicious. First time here for more than a quick coffee. Breakfast burrito was amazing, wrapped very well and didn't leak the over easy eggs. Looked over at some other plates on tables around me and everything looked fantastic, great presentation. Huge selection of coffee based drinks. I suggest going on a day off mid week as weekends are a bit insane (but that's what happens when you are good)"

"This place has a very comfortable, warm feeling about it, you want to be here, and enjoy your meal. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food not only looks and smells amazing, its really delicious. From the perfectly prepared burgers to the carefully made amazing sandwiches, and the gourmet coffee... Wow! I'm glad it's off the beaten path because that's one of the things that makes it so unique. A place worth going to... A place you'll enjoy."
