"Where to start? I was very hesitant on continuing my journey in child care but after taking one step into Ducklings, I knew there was no question, I found my place. Accepting a job offer from here was the best decision I ever made and only regret I have is, I didn’t accept it sooner. Being apart of Ducklings wasn’t just saying yes to a career but joining a work family. Everyone , from the owners to the coworkers, to the director and to the parents and children , makes waking up and going to work a pure joy. Teaching children is a true passion of mine and being able do that in a center like Ducklings is a true blessing I’ll never take for granted. There’s never a day that I work that’s not filled with laughs and smiles . One of the most important factors that separates Ducklings Wallingford from every other center, is that the owners , (Ed and Halley) and director ( Chris) really do care about each of their employees. They always stand behind their employees and when a problem occurs , they’re right there to help guide you. Other staff members are always there to help you and you always learn different teaching strategies. Again, this isn’t just a work place , Ducklings Wallingford is a family."

"Words cannot express how happy we are with our experience at Ducklings Early Learning Center in Wallingford. My daughter who began her school year as a firefly this year absolutely loves attending school here everyday, so much that she gets upset on Saturday morning! She has learned so much in the last few months, it is truly amazing and a testament to the staff and the daily hard work that they put in. The atmosphere that they’ve created is so warm and inviting there isn’t one teacher that doesn’t know my daughters name who is enrolled there, as well as my daughters name who picks her up. As a working mom I truly appreciate the thorough and easily accessible communication throughout the day. Their facility is beautiful and very, very clean. I could go on and on with positive remarks about this facility and the wonderful staff they have there and the overall warm environment that they create but overall I just feel truly blessed to have my daughter at what can only be described as the “Harvard” of preschools."

"My eight month old has been attending Ducklings - Wallingford since I went back to work when she was twelve weeks old. It’s such a reassurance to know that she is so well looked after when I am not there. Her teachers are so good with her (now she reaches her arms out to them when she sees them in the morning) and they helped us through a stressful period of bottle refusal when she first started. I have great communication with her teachers and love receiving the updates on the Brightwheel app throughout the day. The owner and director are always available and so responsive to any question or concern. I feel so grateful to everyone at Ducklings for being a part of our village."
