"Three buns ordered Duck, Pork Belly and Short Rib. All were very flavor full and tender and the buns were soft. Topped with pickled vegetables (carrot & daikon radish), scallion, and crispy garlic. The guava drink was very good as well. Expect your boardwalk prices here, give or take 20$ for three depending on what combinations you get. Definitely better alternative from your standard fare in the area. Looking forward to returning again."

"Fantastic fresh, tasty, healthy, asian street food steps from the beach in Cape May. A great change from traditional heavy beach food usually found on the boardwalk. So good! A great value. You will love it. The short ribs are amazing."

"I ordered two pork belly bao/bun and one salmon bun and they are about $7 each with tax and tips. The pork belly bao was glazed with lots of salt and sugar and the bread is sweet almost pancake-ish type of bread except this is white simple flower bread. So if you have diabetes, you have to watch out as it’s loaded with sugar and salt. The salmon bao is the one that I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair. The bao itself it’s about size of your palm and I have a small hand. The salmon bao, listen to this, two pieces of salmon inside the bun were 1” by 1” you hear me right 1” x 1” size of a quarter. I took a picture so I can share it with you. because it is so tiny i can not even taste and tell you what was or if it’s indeed salmon or something else. The bao/bun is really about 2 stars at the best but I’m giving three simply because I haven’t try other things from this restaurant yet as you can see I’m really trying to like this place as I have been waiting for this place to open since the pandemic, but this trip was very disappointing."

"Foo Bao is a welcome addition to the Cape May! We were in need of good, authentic Asian cuisine. The owners, Lou and Amy, do a fabulous job in serving quality Asian Street food - amazing light and fluffy buns filled with your choice of duck, lobster, pulled pork and other choices of deliciousness! The rice bowls were amazing as well. They’re still working out the kinks in service since Foo Bao is a new restaurant. It’s a must try especially if you’re looking for quality and authentic Asian cuisine served by Chef Lou and steps away from the beach!"
