"It's just a fun Irish pub full of Irish comfort food and good beer. They used to have flights of Irish whiskey and excellent scotch, but these seem to have disappeared. Perhaps we were there at the wrong time of day. Relax and feel comfortable with your friends here."

"We enjoyed everything at Irish Penny. The pretzel was monster and really good. Turkey turnover was good, shepherds pie was excellent as well as the seafood with potato pancakes. Loved the sweet onion dressing in salad. Simple things done well, homemade in quality. Definitely visiting again."

"Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon. Had not been before. We started off with some soup. I had the potato leek and the wife had the broccoli and cheese. Both were very good. The leek was not overbearing. Next we tried the boom boom shrimp. It was fried shrimp with a nice sauce. Not the best I've ever had but pretty darn good. For our entrees, we had the steak boxty and the seafood boxty. The wife loved her steak and the seafood was pretty good. I would have liked the potato pancake to be cooked just a bit more. For dessert we had the bread pudding. It was said to be made at the restaurant. I was a bit disappointed. The top was cold and the bottom was like warm. It's consistency was a bit on the soggy side. Not my favorite. Service was very good. Jillian was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. She made the experience very pleasant."

"Was looking forward to trying their Irish Breakfast, Linda had the fish and chips. Was very disappointed with my Irish Breakfast, everything tasted very greasy (Linda's too), the Irish Bangers which are essential to an Irish breakfast were I'm pretty sure the "Aldi's" version of UK sausage (not the best) and casing is nasty ..had to scrape the sausage out of it. The bacon was Irish Rasher style. the white pudding was soggy and no taste, and the black pudding was over cooked and also didnt taste good. I ordered the boxty on the side as there was no mention of tatie bread (potato farls) or soda bread etc...no toast. But way to much flour and not enough potato in boxty. The baked beans were standard US Style bush's baked beans...not Irish/uk style. So all in all id only give it a 5 out of 10. Our Waitress who served us was very cheerful and attentive. in a cute wee kilt."

"All I have to say is Good Irish values The food was good I did miss out on the Shepards pie but overall it's good. The bread pudding was baked in a spiced creamed sauce that was so good and the Cabbage was spiced to perfection. The ham was baked nicely and the black pudding was great as well. There drink menu was good I had the Irish cream vodka which was fabulous."
