Days Inn by Wyndham Wilmington/Brandywine

"Definitely, the major drawback with this location was the cleanliness of the room. I will say that the room that I was staying in was a business classroom and it definitely had a major roach infestation, which definitely led for me, not bringing my luggage and not feeling comfortable, leaving my luggage either on the floor, or on the countertop where there was a bunch of roaches that I encountered even with the lights on the lounge chair that was in the room definitely have been chewed up by some sort of pet that was their previous. There was not really any sense that the room have been sanitized Due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic the air was not actually clean. It did have a weighted field to it the fridge raider both inside and outside live roaches both large and small. The TV did not work properly as it should there was an issue with the heating element in the room the AC/heating unit was not properly working , so it definitely needs a couple of upgrades and a little bit more attention to detail into cleaning before I would return and give it another try. I was definitely disappointed by this being a Wyndham property I stay at a bunch of Wyndham properties and it’s definitely one of the ones on the lower end , as well as the bathroom was so far out of deep that it was hard to take a shower ."

"Room has cockroaches. Water didn't have much pressure so I had to stand right under the shower head. It was a cheap place because I'm traveling for work. Wouldn't recommend to someone looking for a good hotel to stay at."

"So sleep is almost 0 especially when you have the other people. Also using the separate apartments screaming in the middle of the night the location is kind of the middle of a busy road where there is constantly traffic cars racing motorcycle is racing. I mean with service they I think, clean the bed and vacuum the room, that’s it. There was a horrible musty smell that never went away. There’s constantly people looking at cars inside of cars checking with cars are locked and unlocked and constantly people smoking a good place for a one night stay maybe two but that’s pushing it."

"Oh I remember when this hotel was brand spanking new. Awesome location, new rooms, great housekeeping. I don't know what happened to it. I'm guessing there was a change in ownership. The rooms aren't quite as nice as they used to be, and there are people who live there because they provide housing to some. I am not saying that to scare anyone off. And I'm not saying that to be a snob. I do understand we are at a time when folks need help. I say that to say that some are treating it like their home which it is exactly that. So you will find people sitting in front of rooms with the door open or just hanging around outside at night. It can be off putting. And then there is the deterioration of the rooms. The showers and tile are old, musty smells, carpet is dirty, stained walls, some of the beds are broke, some of the rooms chairs are broke...Maaan, this place used to be my husbands and I quick getaway but I don't think I can pay $80 on average for the stay anymore. It really really needs a do over. I will say I usually have had great customer service overall though. This place is still a prime location- it just has fell off sadly. The owners have really let this place go. I will hold on to hope that someone cleans it up."
