It is mind-boggling to me how someone working at the front desk of a psychiatric office could be so impatient and disrespectful when dealing with individuals who are already struggling with their mental health. It is an absolute disgrace that someone in her position is unable to exhibit even a modicum of courtesy and compassion. My primary concern is that individuals seeking help and support from this clinic will be subjected to the same mistreatment and belittlement that I endured. Mental health issues are already incredibly challenging to deal with, and encountering someone like Jan only exacerbates the pain and despair one feels. I strongly urge anyone considering seeking assistance from the Sterling Institute for Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Medicine to steer clear of this institute solely due to the abysmal behavior of the individuals at the front desk. Their inability to effectively perform the most basic aspects of their job is not only unprofessional but also damaging to the well-being of the patients they are supposed to serve. In conclusion, my encounter with Jan at the Sterling Institute for Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Medicine left me deeply disturbed and disappointed. I sincerely hope that others will be spared from such a distressing experience, and I implore the management of this clinic to address the behavior of their staff and ensure that individuals seeking help are treated with the respect and compassion they deserve."

"Jan at the front desk is always amazing at what she does. She will go above and beyond what is asked of her and she will do with a graceful smile. I only ask to talk to Jan when I need refills on prescriptions or making appointments with doctor Mathias. Jan is absolutely the best there hands down. We need more workers like Jan in the world today. Dr. Mathias is phenomenal, she listens to her patients’ needs and knows how to help every step of the way. I have never met a doctor who puts her patients first before themselves until I met Dr. Tamar Mathias. She is easily the best doctor I have ever had."

"Giving one star to this office is more than generous. I have found that the office staff, specifically Jan are extremely unprofessional. When I called the office, Jan treated me as if I was an annoyance rather than a patient. She was extremely rude and condescending. Dr. Satinover is regularly late to appointments. In addition, the office staff never calls to set up a follow up appointment as promised. This leads to me having to call and speak to the rude staff multiple times."
