"We started our journey 3 years ago at this amazing school. When our son was first diagnosed on the spectrum it was a VERY confusing and an isolating time for us. We had no idea where to start, what to do, or how to help him. We felt completely helpless. On our very first tour with Building Blocks, we walked in completely unsure. We walked out knowing this was going to be the best place for him to grow. In the 3 years we have been there we haven't been disappointed with our decision once! This school is staffed with the most amazing individuals. No one ever does not have the time to speak with you. Someone is always willing to help, guide and explain things. Our son has only worked with 8 of the teachers, however I have personally gotten to know every single one of them and know them. They are all amazing. I would be comfortable and confident putting my son in ANY of their classes. Recently our country was turned upside down, quickly. Without skipping a beat, the administrative staff, teachers & assistants all stepped up and put in 150% of effort to reconstruct how they teach our children. They learned a new way to ensure that all of our children were still learning. Everyday. From the classrooms all the way to gym class! I have never regretted my decision placing our son in this amazing school. And I know anyone reading this review will not either. They have helped not only my son become the best version of himself, but my family as well. Building Blocks is not just a school. You become a part of them, a part of their family. Even as we step out the door for the last time and move onto kindergarten, I know without doubt, that if I need something or guidance or support, I can always call them."

"Building Blocks is such an amazing school! We have sent 2 children there already, and about to send our third. They are a welcoming, capable and safe environment, where kids learn so much at such a young age. Our oldest child has attention and speech issues, and they were at the forefront of finding out what he needed and providing the services which helped him catch up. They also set him up for future services by attending the necessary meetings with our school district for Kindergarten; making sure they were over-prepared, and provided their recommendations. Our school district told us that they rarely see a school so on top of things, and they granted us 100% of the services Building Blocks recommended. Our second son did not need any additional services, but absolutely loved going to school and participating each day! He is now in Kindergarten, and still talks about his teacher there. We can't wait for our third child to start next year!"

"My son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and he received early intervention and then went on to building blocks where he received speech and o.t. and did wonderfully there mrs Leslie was his teacher the first year in a 12:1:2 and then ms Kaitlyn the second year in a 10:1:1 he has progressed so much and the staff was always helpful and nice to my wife and I. I don't know about other peoples experiences but my son and my experience were nothing short of great hes on his way to kindergarten now and is in a 15:1:1 I think he will move on to an integrated class next year and possibly eventually go mainstream. He also has a great support structure at home and we weren't the Not My Kid parents we always did and continue to do what is in his best interest. Not every ASD child is the same so when looking for a school make sure you do your homework. In my experience building blocks was great"

"There is not enough room to say all that Building Blocks has done for my family. I have two children, my oldest, typically developing who was at Building Blocks through Universal Pre-K and my youngest who received services there first through early intervention and now through my school district. I have seen every inch of this amazing school, both physically and academically. We were welcomed into a family when began there and though they prepared my son’s very well to venture to kindergarten, I am going to feel a great sense of loss when we leave. I never doubted for a moment that my children were in great hands. These folks are the best; from the retired law enforcement that keep watch at the front desk, to the teachers and therapists in the classrooms. My younger child was still a baby when he started and they accommodated my mommy nerves with their open-door policy and let me stare into the double glass into his classroom until I didn’t feel the need anymore.
