"Dr. Jodi Sutton put an IUD (Kyleena) in me a little over 5 years ago. I was only 21 at the time and trusted the doctor to provide good medical advice. The IUD insertion process went smoothly, but shortly after I experienced the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. It's important to note that I've broken both my legs before and the aftermath of the IUD was more painful than breaking my legs. For the next six months I kept on bleeding. I called the doctor's office and they dismissed my complaint saying that was normal. I also couldn't cross my legs for the first few months due to the pain since it felt like something was stabbing me on the side of my uterus. At my annual OBGYN check up every year, the doctor (I switched around) told me they were never able to locate my string, but performed an ultrasound and was able to see it. Fast forward to 2023, I have visited two separate OBGYNs in New York and Boston for the removal. One OBGYN in NY tried the fishing technique, but was unsuccessful since the string was too short and said I have to go under anesthesia to get it removed (aka get it surgically removed). Thankfully I was wise enough to consult for a second medical opinion (in Boston since that's where I live now) and a different OBGYN also tried the fishing technique, but it was unsuccessful. Rather than pushing me to get it surgically removed, he suggested we try a scope first and then leave surgery as a last resort if I couldn't handle the pain. My new OBGYN in Boston is wonderful and explained to me that Dr. Jodi Sutton cut the string too short (two doctors confirmed this) and it was completely medically unprofessional that she dismissed my complaints since it was absolutely not normal for me to be experiencing that level of pain and complication. Now I am going to be stuck with a large medical bill because she screwed up. Yay me. Thanks a lot. If you are thinking of going to Dr. Jodi Sutton, please I beg of you to not go to her. Save your time, pain, and money. Please go to a different doctor."

"We constantly have issues with getting our prescription called in on a timely basis to the correct pharmacy. I am not sure if it is the fault of Dr. Sutton or her staff but it causes undue stress and time."
