United Check Cashing

"Since the one guy was let go the owner of this place has been a scumbag every time I come in I argue about checks you got to watch the machine accounts the money in because you can't see it through the reflection of the glass I gave him a certain amount of money and every time I come in it says less and he's been wrong I've been coming here for about 5 years with the other guy without a problem counting money correctly arguing with them so every time I come in I lose money definitely going to be going somewhere else he's got more bad reviews since he took over than anybody else go somewhere else guys don't lose your money"

"When Mr John ran this place, he & his wife were very personable. I've been going there since 2007 and never even felt disgruntled let alone wanting to let Selden know about the place! I had a Western Union to pick up. I gave him my drivers license which expired in April. He told me he couldn't help me cause of expiration. I told him when I went to renew it,I got a notice from the DMV saying anyone who had a bday in March,through 2020, their drivers license was good indefinitely. I just last week got a letter from them saying services are now open, U can renew. He tells me the DMV has been open since August! And I'm 30 days past August. For a Western Union Pick Up Under $100!. I went across the street to Walgreens. Got my money without a problem! This was not the first time I or?my husband walked out of that place frustrated since the previous managers retired. It is now our last!!"

"My mother goes in to cash a check for a corporation that we shut down, speaking little and understanding even less english, she came out perplexed at the reasoning behind the impossibility of cashing this check. I go in to clarify the situation, and the young lady who is supposedly the owner abruptly stops me mid sentence to tell me that she already told my mother she couldn't cash the check. So I explain to her that my mother doesn't understand english and asked if she may tell me why again. She asked me not to get angry with her, which I wasn't, and ever so rudely re-explained why, as if I am supposed to know the companies policies as a first time customer. At the end I thanked her for her help and she in a low tone murmured "Mhm" and flipped her hair. Everyone has their good and bad days I get it, I just happened to be the victim of hers that day. I own a business myself and work in an extremely high stress environment, but I professionally leave the bad at the door."
