They will steal your money and then make you sit through hours of circular customer service calls to solve the issue, if they are even willing to solve it. Im surprised there is not a criminal investigation on this company."

"I’ve had horizon for maybe 4 years and this is the 3rd year in a row that come December, they charge me 800-900 a month. It’s a mistake that KEEPS HAPPENING EVERY YEAR! Get it together horizon!!! Will absolutely will switching this January if they can’t help me. Btw they make me pay this insane premium and give it back to me like 6 months later after endless phone calls and stress. Last year they dropped me after not paying 900 a month, even though it was their mistake. I can’t stand that this mistake keeps happening. I can’t be the only one !!!"

"Most expensive and worst insurance I've ever had. The Horizon website was down when I needed it, no fixes despite reporting the issue over the phone. Speaking of which calling the 800 # is a painful experience, long waits and agents can't help. Horizon coverage excluded the one specialty I actually needed. Not recommended. Gary D. St. Hilaire, I see you collected $2,728,120 in 2020. I hope your third yacht gets great gas mileage"

"Terrible insurance Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NJ. They are the beast scamming artists. I've been trying to get hearing aids which they include 100% after I meet my deductible. I'm on call so is my provider almost every day for the last two weeks. So far they accepted they cover them up to $3000 for both not they claim that my provider needs to get an authorization. They my provider never can reach them. We keep running in loops. My last year with Horizon BCBSNJ"

"Because of this insurance, I now OWE 2k to the dentist. I'm a college student, this debt just ruins more my finances. And this is a problem that could've been resolved by just answering the employees of my dentist office! They'd either deny stuff or give the run around and NEVER help. Plus, they made me go though hell to get a medication I desperately needed or else I could have lost my eye! They couldn't care less about you, it's unbelievable! I'm happy I changed to another insurance, this trash is not even worth dust."
