"Got a lot of good out of this practice, however, um, they don't appear to exist anymore? The website redirects to a different practice at the same location and the patient portal has disappeared. I haven't received any notification of a change, but I found out my doctor was no longer at the practice the month before when I called for refills. Need some improvement on the communication, that's kind of a big deal."
"This office is the worst. The receptionists never smile and are often rude. i only come here because i love my doctor. I never get in to my appointment on time. I usually sit in the waiting room for at least 20 minutes just to go and talk to the doctor for a total of 2 minutes. Would not recommend this office to anyone. although my doctor is great i'm considering finding a new office."
"Let me start by saying that Dr Ammerman should get 5 stars, he is a great, friendly Doctor. As for the practice, this is easily the worst practice I have ever encountered. The receptionists are often rude. They never return your calls, and they refuse to refill prescriptions unless you make another appointment. I had an emergency one time and called in for help, I was put through to another Doctor there who was completely unfriendly and made me feel worse. The first therapist I had was extremely confrontational with me, and made me feel very uncomfortable, so I switched to Ellen who was very nice. Avoid this place like the plague unless you get to see Dr Ammerman, then pray he moves to another place soon."
"Really terrible practice. I have had the office change appointment times without first consulting me and other times waited as long as 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be seen. It is also not uncommon for them to double book. I had an almost traumatically horrible time with the first psychiatrist I had seen there. I walked out mid appointment and cried in my car. The next psychiatrist was okay along with the therapist I saw. But when it comes to something as important as mental health, I encourage you to find better for yourself than an "okay" doctor and an unprofessional and inconsiderate front office. Surrounding towns offer much better mental health options"
