"Went after the first snowfall - beautiful!! Parking area and then short walk to the falls - two options to walk: a gradually downsloping curved path to the left or staircase that isn’t too steep to the right of the parking area as you face the woods. There is also a gated overlook at the top of the falls. Really gorgeous! Also some nice hiking trails that are easy to moderate difficulty. I will definitely go back."

"Pretty waterfall close to parking, just need to head down a set of stairs to get the full view. Went on a Wed so it wasn't crowded at all. You can also view the top from a platform or from the road over pass across the street."
"This is a great park for hiking and enjoying the view of the waterfall. You can park very close and see the falls, or opt to hike over from the other side of the park. You can also explore the park trails. You will find a giant Mountain Laurel and " little falls" some smaller waterfalls about a 25 min brisk hike from high falls. It's a great place to enjoy nature both for those needing accessible access, and those interested in an afternoon in nature"
"One of Connecticut's best waterfalls! Not much parking so plan to come in off hours. Also out of state plates need to pay for entry. Beautiful falls and path through the woods"
