"Brought my car in for a new muffler. Spoke to the guy at the desk and he said that would take care of the job and that they had an experienced welder. Well less than 50 miles later I heard a clunk and grinding. I stopped the car and went to the back and the exhaust the shop installed was dragging on the ground. Drove home like that. Upon closer inspection, I could tell the welder that did the job had zero experience with welding. No penetration and he tried to weld onto dirty existing parts without proper preparation. Took my car home and installed a new muffler myself. Never again taking any of my cars to monro in Cheshire. These guys should be ashamed that they even charged me for the work performed. "Ryan was really helpful. Nothing but a positive experience here. I needed a tire mounted to a rim for my kid's go-kart (essentially the same as a ride-on lawnmower rim). Called around a few places on Saturday afternoon. By then, few were open, those that were either couldn't fit me in for days (or more) or were hesitant to do such an odd / small job. Ryan said bring it in, they took a look, and changed it in 15 min while I waited. Kiddo is stoked, and Dad is a hero - all because Ryan / Monro made it easy."

The manager, Ryan was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and even brought me out to my car to show me what they’ll be doing (brakes, rotors, oil change). Being a female, there’s a lot of negative reputation with these types of places, but I felt very respected and they weren’t trying to up charge at all. My car was completed in little over an hour. "Not sure what is going on at Monro Auto in Cheshire!! I am a long time customer. We spoke to counter person last Saturday, 8/5 about getting work done. Told to drop it off after 1 on Wednesday, 8/9. They needed to time to order a part. Dropped it off on Wednesday. Didn't hear anything back. After two days we called. They didn't even know why the car was parked in their lot, and then when we spoke to the Manager, Ryan, he said, after he looked into it, that the part was never ordered. When asked well didn't you wonder why the car was parked there in the first place? Why didn't you call us? He said he didn't know. Terrible customer service. When a manager doesn't even know what is going on in their shop or why a car is parked in their SMALL lot for two days!!! That is a problem. They lost another customer. Shame on you Monro Auto. Get it together! From reading other recent reviews, this establishment desperately needs to be reviewed and revitalized. It sounds like this situation is becoming dangerous. Please do not go here!!!"
