"I often come here because it's near where I live Most of the workers are not polite, they even show anger towards customers. I witnessed a meat counter man quarreling with an old woman because the meat was not right, the one she wanted. In my opinion, it seems like they don't want to do business with everyone. Vegetables look beautiful on the outside, but when you buy them, they will be rotten on the inside Unlike what you think, every time I buy food from this market, I can only eat it.1/2 The other 1//2 were thrown away, but I wrote a review to let them know that I felt sorry, because their service was so bad, maybe this is the style of Chinese people. The cashier showed her attitude and threw the vegetables and fruits into the bag with great force. When we got home, when we took them out and put them in the refrigerator, all the items were crushed and almost screamed. And I gave them a chance...but I'm so sorry...Here they sell more expensive than where I usually go"

"This is a beautiful, clean, gigantic store that has just about anything you can think of for Southeast Asian cooking, particularly Vietnamese and Cambodian. But they also have a huge stock of Chinese ingredients, Thai, Filipino, a lot of Korean and some Japanese. Even though we were there a week before Tet (Lunar New Year), the store is so spacious that it never felt crowded. They have the widest selection of tropical fruits and vegetables I have even seen in an Asian market in NJ. Their frozen section has tons of vegan meats, and I think there are 3 or 4 aisles of noodles. I was happily surprised to find Japanese style short grain (not sticky) rice from Taiwan, which I have only been able to buy online. They even sell the old fashioned hot pots (and the modern ones). And their prices are better than my usual Asian markets in central Jersey. I will be making an annual trip here to stock up on some essentials I can’t get anywhere else. And the people who work in this store are helpful and kind. (i don’t eat animal products so I don’t know anything about those departments). No bad smells in this store and it is well stocked (soy sauce selection alone is mind blowing). I wish they would open a store near me!"

"This place has an amazing variety of fruits, vegetables and foods. The staff is also very helpful. There were a couple of items that I had trouble finding. When I asked for help, it was all hands on deck to assist me in finding what I was looking for, even if we didn’t speak the same language. I highly recommend this place."

"I’m so glad that Hung Vuong Market open in New Jersey. There aren’t many Asian supermarket in southern NJ and this place have it all. Asian cuisine and cultural cooking require so many ingredients and spice that can’t be found in your typical supermarket. This market have the freshest seafood for good price. This is our go to spot to buy snow crab by the case and quality crawfish. Boxes of shrimps are high quality as well. They have all the awesome Asian snacks we all love as kids. The best thing about this market is the organization and cleanliness. Lots of pop up new Asian eatery in the plaza. Sunseng supermarket have a bit more items that Hung Vuong doesn’t carry but I’ve notice that they are starting to increase their inventory with more top name brands. The toys section is worth a visit for kids."

"I've been shopping here for about 3 years now. There is now a Hung Vuong closer to me, but they don't have Taste Nirvana Thai Iced Tea, so I still go to this one when I'm in the area. There is a nice selection of foods and goods from various Asian countries. Lots of good spices, snacks, drinks, fresh seafood and produce. Today, we got one of the pink pineapples. In addition to food, there are home goods, toys and cute stuff for kids, etc. My daughter got an adorable tote bag with one of the characters she likes on it."
