I grab coffee here nearly every morning on my way to work and am always greeted with a smile and kind words from the courteous folks who run this fantastic local establishment. My family regularly stops by as well to pick up sandwiches, treats or other things we need to get us through the week. Playland Market's convenience and friendly atmosphere keep us coming back. It's part of the fabric of the neighborhood."

"Insanely expensive, rude staff and they can't even make a sandwich right. When a chicken parm comes out to $13 the least they could do is make it so all of the cheese doesn't peel off with the wrapper. Every sandwich I've gotten from them they have found some new and creative way to mess it up. They also just make up prices for things as they go. If I could give 0 stars I would. Edit as of 07/30/23 I decided to come back after about a year of not going here, I figured I'd see if anything has changed. I ordered a #25 roast beef sandwich with some basic stuff on it and asked to switch the sweet peppers for hot peppers. They decided that warrants a $2.75 increase to the price of the sandwich. This place is hopeless, there are too many good delis in the area to deal with their sketchy business practices and awfully prepared sandwiches."
