"While I have never physically eaten in the restaurant. Today I got a very delicious bowl of Manhattan clam chowder with their ever famous breadsticks so delicious. All I want to say is yum yum yum I want some more LOL and I will be back with my husband to have dinner in the restaurant. From what I have witnessed on several trips to this restaurant is that they greet their customers like their family. Everybody is always willing and helpful and the food comes out very promptly. An absolute blessing of experience and I highly suggest that you all try the Red Hook location. A personal thank you to Liz for all your help today my lunch was absolutely scrumptious I will be back. Take a look at the photo of all the clam inside my Manhattan clam chowder."
"I had a surprise party for 12 people and we sat on the porch. We had the entire area to ourselves. It was a lunch party. The server Nicole was extraordinary. All the guests commented on how great the service was. Food was plentiful and delicious. I brought my own cake. Everyone was happy and Nicole insured everything went smoothly."
"Reliably excellent food. Friendly attentive service. Great bar. Comfortable atmosphere. Usually no problem parking - ok, maybe not on Wine Wednesdays for the best deal around. Awesome catering menu for when you have an unexpected crowd at the house. What's not to love! So sorry we were out of town and missed your birthday celebration and a chance to get some cool advertising swag. Here's best wishes for another 50 years!"
"We came for Christmas Eve dinner and sat on the outside heated area and had a lovely dinner. It was soooo warm and festive for the holiday! Staff was lovely. The food was decadent and rich. The breadsticks are out for his world and I happily ate too many. I enjoyed my main dish, which was a special Tuscan salmon, but I did find both my main and the appetizer were super creamy, cheesy and heavy but didn’t have as much depth of flavor/spice/variety. I love butter and heavy cream more than most but I ended up super full quickly and just wanted more on my palate. I will say the whole table left full and happy! I’d be back for a date night, special occasion or family gathering for sure!"
