"A wonder of a place! Loads of whimsically refinished furniture, lovely antiques, perfumed french soaps, beautiful candles, and the most personable of shopkeeps. This little gem is just right for a treasure hunt. There is something really special about the care given to the detail within the walls of the shop. If I'm in the area again, I shall be sure to pay a visit, as I suspect all sorts of various trinkets and treasures make their passage here. What a wonderful find!"
"Beautiful store with lots of old and new pieces, furniture, decorative items,pillows,lotions, candles and lots more . The store has 2 large areas loaded with chalk paints , milk paints and wax . They have wonderful paint samples to see the colors with lots of variations and techniques to choose from . Would definitely pop in and check it out .I left feeling inspired to re paint old blanket chest of mine ...enjoy"
"I found the owner to be full of himself and rudely obnoxious. I had to walk out to avoid saying something I might regret later. I'm was amazed by the store policy which will not exchange an unopened can of chalked paint. I guess the money is directly wired to Annie Sloan! Not a place I'll do business with again!"
"That place has got some of the most amazing eclectic stuff. When you walk in if you go to the back left corner there's a lady that calls herself Bungalow B she's got some amazing stuff in there. You really need to head into chalk Mercantile and check out all their amazing stuff."
