"Garage always has problems with gates and getting help is nil to none. Staff never returns email about problems. dealing with ghosts"
"So far so good! Love my neighbors, they are super friendly. Haven’t had any maintenance issues which makes life here very easy. The appliances are top notch, and I love my floor to ceiling windows:)"
"If I could give zero stars I would, as a former tenant this company is by the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Kaitlyn is racist and will not answer any emails or concerns you have. She will try to belittle you and insult your intelligence like you don’t know anything when in fact you know more than she does and she doesn’t like that especially if you’re a person of color. She sent a list about what type of dogs were allowed and we could only get a small dog once the pet deposit was made, in which we did, shortly after I saw people with large dogs of all sorts and when I asked them, not one of them were told by her that they couldn’t have the specific breed. Another couple of color had the same issues with her. Then we received an email saying they we didn’t pay the pet deposit in which we did so we sent a screenshot over to her. Next we were getting charged for the amenities there in which we thought was apart of the rent and come to find out no one else was getting charged for them expect a few other people of color. People were moving out left and right and some as fast as they got there they were leaving. Once our lease was up we did month to month, within the law it states that the landlord/tenant should come to an agreement about the rent and what’s reasonable for both parties. The law allows up to a certain amount and she decided to go to that amount without discussing anything to us. Several emails and stops by the office were sent and made, she ignored them until she decided to talk on her terms and she went around the subject and talked about things that weren’t really happening. October of last year, we decided to give them a 30 day notice to quit possession which is one of the requirements that was stated in the beginning. She followed by sending one herself in which we laughed at because we knew she would was going to pull something like that. Moved out way before anything could happen, turned in all keys and fobs, recorded the entire thing including leaving the apartment. The following year in between January and march, maybe April give it or take, we received a envelope from a collection agency. She fabricated false information on my credit report and made it seem like we were in the hole for a delinquent balance which the number she stated is mind boggling because there is no way that someone can have a balance that high and still live there. Moving forward, we have tried to make contact for sometime now to discuss this balance and she has not responded back to any emails or phone calls. Someone by the name of Amanda answered the phone and acknowledged the emails were received and she did not respond to any of them. If you don’t have anything to hide then why are you ignoring us? i have all the emails and rent records for everything. Please do not, I repeat do not rent here especially if you’re a person of color. Kaitlyn doesn’t take to kind to us."
"The worst thing that could happen to anyone renting is facing a bad property management and people in the leasing office ignoring you. I am not the type to complain or even write a review but there’s always a start I guess. For anyone out there looking to rent a unit in this building be mindful of couple of things; 1. The building is beautiful with nice amenities. Also, for me it’s affordable for a downtown studio unit. 2. Management is bad especially this one lady I spoke to about my issue named Kathleen(not sure if that’s how her name is spelled ). She said she is the property manager. She was rude, not listening and almost insulting of my intelligence. One of the leasing office employee suggested (a day before) I email the property manager and will get a respond asap which I did but never got a response after 24hrs but just like magic, I walk up to this same lady to tell her I haven’t heard anything from the property manager. She replied saying, the property manager is out of office and she doesn’t know when he/she would be back then boom, this Kathleen lady (the property manager) happens to know the full story about my issue and is standing right there in-front of me. Isn’t that interesting? 3. The best studio units (in my opinion) with the all round glass windows are the worst to live in. The A/C / Heat vent is right above the kitchen facing the bed. It is very loud and blows harsh air. Imagine the air opening your blinds, that’s how strong the air blows. There is no option to reduce the fan speed, you can only adjust the temperature. Because this is a corner studio unit, there is no other vent aside that one meaning when you switch off the AC/ Heat due to the noise you are suddenly hot or cold. 4. I kept getting sick (I am pregnant )because of the temperature issue in this unit but when I spoke to Kathleen, she insinuated that I am lying because I can’t get sick only because air is blowing on me all day and night. Mind you, this is a studio unit, so this is the only way to put your bed. 5. The maintenance team is awesome and were very understanding of my condition. They suggested I asked management to change my apartment but guess what Kathleen or anyone in the leasing office didn’t suggested that. They simply said there is nothing they can do. The maintenance guy said there is a huge mistake with the way the building was constructed and units designed. 6. If you love calm and peaceful sleep, this building is not for you or may be get a noise canceling ear piece to sleep. If you are looking to rent in this building, please read my feedback first especially the black community. I wished I listened to the black guy I met in the elevator the day I was moving in who warned me but I didn’t listen. I was just so excited about the view from my unit etc and thought he was a hater, oh I was wrong. I have never faced racism but I felt disregarded and disrespected today by this Kathleen! I wish I recorded the whole argument because she kept insisting that I don’t know much about HVAC systems a filter change could help. She clearly wasn’t listening and disregarding my condition (being pregnant)."
