"IF IT WEREN’T FOR ANGELICA.., You read that right! If it weren’t for Angelica the 10 of us would’ve walked out last night. We had a large group looking for a place that would welcome us despite not having reservations. Well.. we found this spot and met an ANGEL named Angelica. She welcomed us; told us our large group would be just fine. She started to rearrange the tables and we decided to help her because that’s what appreciative people do. The cook started yelling at us from the back. He was RUDE, HORRIBLE, UNREASONABLY HOSTILE AND RIDICULOUS! All because we were helping her. I wondered if he had an issue with a bunch of black people showing up unannounced..? I asked Angelica if he was the owner and she said yes. We were APPALLED!! THE OWNER WAS YELLING AT US?? I told her we won’t be putting money in his pocket. She begged us to stay. She told us her story and we felt compelled to let her do service recovery that the owner could take lessons from. We did. Angelica was the greatest!! We never would ever have stayed anyplace like this but.. IF IT WEREN’T FOR ANGELICA…"

"I really wanted to like this place but it was a big disappointment. The pizza crust was light and crispy that was the positive. The sauce and meatball lacked any flavor at all. Unfortunately the same with the soup. I found myself adding tons of pepper to the pizza and salt to the soup. I also get this place has been around for a while but it doesn’t excuse the filth. It all made me question the sanitation standards in the kitchen! Ending on a positive note - our server was very sweet and did a great job!!"
